By the grace of Hashem,

27 Tammuz* 5719,

Brooklyn,

To the participants of the gathering of 3 Tammuz*,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received the report of your gathering, as well as the proposals and decisions formulated regarding the spreading of the wellsprings (note 1: Of Chassidus*). May Hashem grant that the good decisions be concretely followed by effect, in an ever-increasing manner and, precisely in the terms of the letter of the Baal Shem Tov*, that they "spread forth."

And may the verse be fulfilled: "Yehudah has been exiled (Galtah)," according to this other reading: "Yehudah has been revealed" (note 2: Galtah can be related to Gilui, revelation). Moreover, Yehudah symbolizes the most total submission, personal and global, for the wellsprings will indeed reach the outside. The verse then says: "because of her poverty and her intense labor." The spreading will therefore bring about the "poverty" of evil, which will be repelled, and it will require "intense labor." Indeed, "he dwells among the nations" and his mission therefore consists of finding the strength within himself. This is why "he finds no rest" and he is rewarded for it, for "all pursue him." Now, it is said elsewhere that: "goodness and kindness shall pursue me." And "they overtake him between the straits" (note 3: Between 17 Tammuz and 9 Av). From this straitness, one will ascend to what thought cannot grasp, as the Reshimos* of the Tzemach Tzedek* on Eichah* 1:3 explain. ויקוים בזה, גלתה, לשון גילוי, יהודא, ענין ההודאה בכל הציור קומה (הפרטית והכללית כיון שיגיעו המעינות גם חוצה ע"י שתהי' ההפצה) מעוני עוצם אתכפיא, ומרוב עבודה, כי היא ישבה בגוים ולכן עבודתם בהתגברות יתירה, ולכן לא מצאה מנוח, ושכרה על שלא מצאה אשר כל הוא רודפי' כמ"ש טוב וחסד ירדפוני, והשיגוה בין המצרים, מן המיצר כו' עד העלי' לדלית מחשבה תפיסא בי' וכמבואר בפירוש אדמו"ר הצ"צ ברשימות לאיכה א, ג.
