By the grace of Hashem,

To the directors of the Gan Yisrael* vacation camp, in Canada,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

I have duly received your letter from the eve of the festival of the deliverance, the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Yisrael, as well as our own liberation, within all of Yisrael. I took note with pleasure of the details of your installation at the camp, as well as at the day camp. May Hashem grant that you make use of these weeks to transmit to those at the camp and at the day camp the love of Hashem, which is the foundation of all the positive commandments, among which is the fear of Hashem, which is the foundation of all the prohibitions. From all this must result concrete action, which is the essential thing. In the future, all who see them (note 1: The children at Gan Yisrael) will recognize in them a progeny blessed by Hashem.

It is impossible to describe the importance of the reward, material and spiritual, that is granted to those who devote themselves to all this or who contribute to it morally, physically, or financially. May Hashem grant that there soon be fulfilled the promise according to which: "The child shall be a thousand and the young man... (note 2: ...shall be ten thousand)." Being "between the straits" (note 3: Between 17 Tammuz and 9 Av), we will soon merit, in these days that will be transformed into joy and gladness, the fulfillment of the promise according to which we will receive "an inheritance without limit." With my blessing to give good tidings,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבם מערב חג הגאולה, גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל וגאולתנו אנו בתכ"י.

ונעם לי לקרות הפרטים באופן הסתדרות הגן, וכן המחנה יומי,

ויהי רצון אשר ינצלו שבועות אלו להחדיר בבני הגן והמחנה יומי, אהבת השם ית' אשר הוא היסוד לכל מצות עשה, שבכללן מצות יראת ה' שהוא יסוד לכל מצות לא תעשה, באופן שיבוא לידי מעשה שהוא העיקר, ז.א. שמכאן ולהבא כל רואיהם יכירום כי זרע ברך ה' המה.

וגודל שכר כל המתעסקים ומשתדלים בזה, אם בנפשם או בגופם וגם בממונם, אין לשער, הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות.

ויהי רצון שבקרוב נזכה להיעוד הקטן יהי' לאלף והצעיר וגו' ומבין המצרים אלו נזכה בעגלא דידן - שיהפכו לששון ולשמחה - לקיום היעוד דנחלה בלי מצרים.
