To the directors of the Talmud Torah* Beis Yosef

of the Yeshivah* Lubavitch, in Toronto,

may Hashem grant you long life,

I greet you and bless you,

After a long interruption, I have duly received your reports nos. 36 and 37, which summarize the situation of these recent weeks (note 1: See, on this subject, letters nos. 6908, 6921, and 6928). As we have spoken about many times, may Hashem grant that the news finally begin to go in the direction of: "I shall advance in expansiveness," "And you shall spread forth to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south" (note 2: According to the slogan chosen by the Rebbe for this year), until reaching "an inheritance without limits." If this must be so in all domains, how much more so is it the case for education based on sacred values, an education whose purpose is to reunify the revealed dimension of the complete Torah* and its inner dimension. This is self-evident.

We have entered the month of the liberation of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, leader of Yisrael. It was also the liberation of the greatest number, at that time and for the years and generations that followed, as indicated by the details of the account of the imprisonment and the liberation. This will therefore receive a concrete application, through actions that will be carried out in the domains for which he gave of himself — that is, the spreading of Yiddishkeit*, in general, and that of the wellsprings (note 3: Of Chassidus*), in particular. All those who are connected to and have knowledge of all this are obligated to carry out such action. For this to be fruitful, tranquility, joy, and enthusiasm are necessary. You will therefore complete all that has just been said, in a true expansiveness, material and spiritual. With my blessing to give good tidings of all this,

לאחרי הפסק ארוך נתקבל פ"כ מס' לו לז, משקפים ר"פ מהמצב במשך השבועות שעברו.

ויהי רצון שמתאים למה שנדבר זה כו"כ פעמים, תתחילנה הבשורות להיות באופן דואתהלכה ברחבה עד לופרצת ימה וקדמה וצפונה ונגבה ועד לנחלה בלי מצרים.

שאם בכל הענינים מוכרח הדבר עאכו"כ בחינוך על טהרת הקדש ובחינוך שמטרתו לאחד הנגלה והפנימיות תורה תמימה, וק"ל.

וכיון שנכנסנו לחדש הגאולה של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע נשיא ישראל, אשר היתה בזה גאולת הרבים בעת ההיא ולשנים ולדורות הבאים לאחרי זה, וכמובן מפרטי הענינים פרשת המאסר והגאולה, הנה יביאו זה בפועל בפעולות באותן השטחים עליהם מסר נפשו הק' הם הפצת היהדות בכלל והפצת המעינות ביחוד, שכל השייכים ויודעים עד"ז מחויבים בזה, וכיון שלהצלחת העבודה צריכים למנוחה שמחה וטוב לבב, הנה רועה ישראל יאר פניו ויגאל את כאו"א בתכ"י מכל ענינים המבלבלים, וימלאו את כל הנ"ל מתוך הרחבה אמיתית הן בגשמיות והן ברוחניות.
