Greetings and blessings,

I have received your letters of 3, 13, and 14 Shevat*. In the meantime, you have surely received my letter which responded to your previous ones.

I enclose the letter I am addressing (note 1: This is the preceding letter) to the participants in the Chassidic* farbrengen* of the day of the Hilloula* (note 2: Of the Previous Rebbe*, on 10 Shevat*). I rely on your understanding to determine in what form it is appropriate to transmit it and especially to take advantage of the opportunity to add explanations on the points that are mentioned therein only by allusion, in particular regarding the spreading of the wellsprings (note 3: Of Chassidus*) in your city and, more generally, the fulfillment of your holy mission, in the best manner. May Hashem* grant that all of this be accomplished with breadth of spirit, with joy and enthusiasm. With my blessing to convey good news of all this,

ומוסגר פה מכתבי להמשתתפים בההתועדות דיום ההילולא. ואל בינתו אשען באיזה אופן למסור להם, והעיקר לנצל זה לתוספת הסברה באלו הדברים שנזכרו בהמכתב ברמז, ובעיקר בהנוגע להפצת המעינות ב... ובמילוי שליחותם הק' בכלל באופן הכי טוב. והשי"ת יעזור שכל זה יעשה מתוך הרחבת הדעת ובשמחה ובטוב לבב.
