To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem*, Rav Michel Yehoshua (note 1: Rav M. Y. Shulsinger. See, on his subject, Letter no. 3887),

Greetings and blessings,

I have asked your brother for news of your state of health and especially of your state of mind. I hope that upon receiving the present letter, the improvement will be effective. Moreover, I know your love for our Holy Land (note 2: Where the addressee of this letter was presumably convalescing), may it be restored and rebuilt, very soon and in our days, by our righteous Moshiach*. It is therefore certain that the atmosphere of Eretz Yisrael* must exert upon you a positive influence, not only for the health and strength of your soul, but also for the health and strength of your body, for the two are linked. I will be pleased to receive your good news concerning all of this.

It is surely unnecessary to point out to you, especially if one takes into account the relationship between your printing press here and the Lubavitch publications (note 3: A great number of books published by Kehot* were, in fact, produced by the Shulsinger printing presses), that it would be good and judicious to plan a visit to the printing press of Kfar Chabad* (note 4: Operating within the framework of the vocational school of Kfar Chabad*), in addition to those you will pay to other Chabad* institutions. Besides its intrinsic interest (note 5: Presented by this visit), there is no doubt that you will be able to make a considerable contribution to this new institution of Kfar Chabad*, to which you will offer advice and guidance, all the more so since this printing press is still at the beginning of its operation. Now, who, like you, is specialized and experienced in this domain? You will kindly convey my regards to your father, although I do not know him personally. I await good news of all this. With my blessing to convey these good news, in joy and enthusiasm,

שלום וברכה!

דרשתי לשלומו אצל אחיו שי' ולמצב בריאותו והעיקר למצב רוחו, ותקותי שלעת קבלת מכתבי כבר באה הטבה ממשית. ובפרט בידעי חבתו לארצנו הקדושה, תבנה ותכונן במהרה בימינו על ידי משיח צדקנו, הרי בודאי שאוירא דארץ ישראל צריכה להשפיע עליו בכיוון הרצוי, לא רק בבריאות ותוספת כח בהנשמה אלא גם בבריאות ותוספת כח בגוף, שהא בהא תליא. ויונעם לי לקבל בשורות טובות ממנו בכל האמור.

בטח למותר לעוררו, ביחוד בשים לב לקישור שבין בית הדפוס שלהם פה עם עניני הדפוס דליובאוויטש, שמהראוי וגם נכון שיבקר את בית הדפוס שהוקם בכפר חב"ד, נוסף על בקוריו במוסדות חב"ד האחרים. ולבד עצם הענין, הרי בלי ספק יוכל להביא למוסד חדש זה בכפר חב"ד תועלת גדולה בעצה והוראה וכו' ובפרט אשר בית דפוס זה הוא בהתחלתו ומי כמוהו מומחה ובעל נסיון במקצוע זה.
