By the grace of Hashem,

6 Menachem Av 5710,

To the Rav, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav C. Z.,[1]

I greet you and bless you.

I reply to your letter of 25 Tammuz.

I do not understand why you are so eager to leave the place where you currently find yourself. You yourself reproduce, in this letter, what my father-in-law, the Rebbe, wrote to you at the time: "For the present, you will remain in this place and you will pursue your action with your students."[2] You must therefore find yourself where the students are, and no doubt the blessing of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, will be accomplished. Hashem will give you health, as well as your wife, and you will know success materially and spiritually.

When one can advance on a path for which the Rebbe takes responsibility, for which he grants the strength, why introduce the actions of men and their stratagems?

May Hashem transform these days into joy and gladness very soon, and may He grant us the true redemption, through our righteous Mashiach, very soon and in our days, Amen.

במענה על מכתבו מכ"ה תמוז:

הבהלה לנסוע ממחנם עתה איני רואה לה יסוד. וכיון שכתב לו בשעתו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ כפי שמעתיק במכתבו הנ"ל "שלע"ע יתעכב במקומו וימשיך עבודתו הק' עם התלמידים שי'" יהי' במקום שיהיו התלמידים ובטח תקוים ברכת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ אשר השי"ת יחזק בריאותו ובריאות זוגתו תי' ויצליח בגו"ר.

אז מען קען גיין אפן רבינס אחריות און מיט זיינע כחות איז וואס דארפן אריינמישן מעשה אנוש ותחבולותיו.

והשי"ת יהפך ימים אלו לששון ולשמחה בעגלא דידן ויגאלנו גאולה אמיתית ע"י מ"צ בב"א.
