To the members of the committee for the development of

Merkaz LeInyanei Chinuch, of Machne Israel, of

Kehot Publications — the Chassidim devoted to communal needs and, the most important point, attached to

my father-in-law, the Rebbe,

May Hashem grant you long life,[1]

I greet you and bless you.

I learned with satisfaction that you have created a committee to develop[2] Merkaz LeInyanei Chinuch, Machne Israel, and Kehot Publications. You have surely already begun your action.

I therefore address my blessing to the designated members of this committee, who will strengthen themselves in the work of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, by finding the financial means to strengthen and expand these institutions, in order to fortify their attachment to my father-in-law, the Rebbe.

My father-in-law, the Rebbe, bore the responsibility of these institutions from their founding. At present, the obligation and the merit of doing so fall to those who are attached to him. They must take their share of this positive and limitless heritage that he bequeathed to us.

In meditating as one should on this obligation and this merit, your determination and your possibilities will be increased. Then Hashem will grant you success.

You will please communicate to me the names of the members of the committee, if others are appointed, so that they may be mentioned near the tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe.

התענגתי לשמוע כי יסדו בעזהשי"ת ועד להחזקת המרכז לעניני חנוך, מחנה ישראל וקה"ת, ובטח כבר נגשו לפעולות ממשיות.

והנני שולח ברכתי לחברי הועד הנועדים להתחזק לזכות בעבודת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ היא השגת אמצעים לחזק ולהרחיב עבודת המוסדות הנ"ל ועל ידי זה לחזק גם את התקשרותם עם כבוד קדושת מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ, אשר מיום יסדו המוסדות הנ"ל נשא על שכמו את עולם, ועכשו החובה והזכות לכל מקושריו להשתתף אתו בנחלה טובה ובלי מצרים זו שהנחילנו.

וכשיתבוננו היטב על החובה והזכות האלו יתגבר בהם הרצון ואפילו היכולת, וחפץ הוי' בידם יצליח.

מטובם להודיעני פרטי שמות החברים של הועד - אם נתוספו - למען הזכירם על ציון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ.
