To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem,

I greet you and bless you.
I received your letter of 21 Tammuz, and finding myself near the tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, I mentioned your names, for the satisfaction of the needs of each.
You speak to me of your move, but I do not see why you are in such a hurry.
It would be good to converse with Rav B. G.[2] upon his return from Morocco,[3] and to envisage the possibility of going to that country to pursue there the mission my father-in-law, the Rebbe, entrusted to you and for which he gave you the strength.[4] If that is not possible, you will study the means of settling in Australia.
Hashem prepares the steps of man. He will therefore guide you and lead you toward the place that suits you best, as well as your family, spiritually and materially. There you will be able to spread the wellsprings of Chassidus* outward, and thus hasten our redemption, as well as that of all Israel. Then my father-in-law, the Rebbe, will lead us all, with the members of our family, with our heads held high, to our land. You will consult, on this subject, tractate Sanhedrin 100b and the Chassidic discourse entitled "VeAsisa" of Shabbos Parashas Chayei Sarah 5676.[5]

בנוגע לשאלתו אדות העתקה איני רואה יסוד להבהלה בזה.
ומה טוב שיתדבר עם הררב"ג שי' אחרי חזירתו ממאראקא אדות האפשרות להעתיק לשם באופן שיוכל להמשיך שם בעבודה מעין זו שהעמיס עליו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ ונתן לו כחות ע"ז. ואם אין שם אפשרות כזו יש להתענין בהעתקה לאווסטרליא.
ומד' מצעדי גבר כוננו והוא ינחנו ויסדרנו במקום ואופן המוכשר לפניו ולפני כב"ב שי' ברוחניות וגשמיות, ויוכל להתעסק בהפצת המעינות החוצה ולהחיש עי"ז גאולתנו וגאולת כלל ישראל וכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ יוליכנו כולנו עם ב"ב שי' קוממיות (ראה סנה' ק, ב. ד"ה ועשית ח"ש עתר"ו) לארצנו.
