By the grace of Hashem,

3 Menachem Av 5710,

To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem, ...

I greet you and bless you.

I received your letter and, as you asked me, I mentioned your name near the tomb of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, so that you may receive the means of your livelihood, wherever you find yourself. For Hashem can give the means to live, also in Montreal.

Having been a student of Yeshivah Lubavitch, you surely study the revealed part of Torah and Chassidus*. From time to time, you no doubt learn the teaching of my father-in-law, the Rebbe.

It would also be good to read each day, without making it a vow, until Rosh Hashanah, the Tehillim of the Rebbe — that is, chapter 71 — in order to forge the receptacle so that the blessings he granted you may be fully accomplished.

גם בזמנים קבועים את החסידות של הרבי כ״ק מו״ח אדמו״ר הכ״מ,

וכדאי לומר כל יום בל״נ עד ראש השנה הבע״ל את הפרק של הרבי בתהלים

פרק עא שזה הוא בתור כלי לקיום ברכותיו שבירך אותו במילואן.
