To the young Yitzchak Tzvi (note 1: I. T. Eisenbach, of Jerusalem. See, on his subject, Letters no. 4816 and 7002),

Greetings and blessings,

I received, in due time, your letter describing briefly your action, as well as your encounter with this young man. A period such as that of Tishrei* does not allow for a detailed response to such letters. Since then, several other areas (note 2: Domains of activity) have surely been added, in addition to those you mention. You will therefore write to me about this and, the more you detail, the better.

We have lived through the seventh month (note 3: Counting from Nissan*), which is satiated with all the good, a month of general bearing for the entire year. May Hashem* grant that the same be true for these actions which, without a doubt, will continue throughout this year, so that one will feel the motivation of this month of global bearing. This motivation will lead to action, quantitative and qualitative at once, and the same will apply to those who act concretely — in quantity, by attracting other young men to the action, and also in quality. Many texts explain the reward one obtains through such accomplishments. With my blessing to convey good news of all this,

בזמנו נתקבל מכתבו ר"פ מפעולותיו, וכן ע"ד הפגישה עם האברך... שי', ואין הזמן דחודש תשרי גרמא לענות על מכתבים כהנ"ל בפרטיות, ובודאי מאז נתוסף בכמה מהענינים אודותם כותב ויכתוב בזה. וכל המפרט בכגון דא ה"ז משובח,

ויהי רצון, שכיון שבאים הננו מחדש השביעי המושבע בכל טוב וחדש הכללי לכל השנה, הנה גם בפעולות האמורות, שבודאי ימשיכו בהן במשך כל השנה, תורגש ההתעוררות דחדש הכללי האמור, התעוררות המביאה לידי פועל, והוספה בהפעולות הן בכמות והן באיכות וגם בהפועלים בהם, הן בכמות (שבזה נכלל גם המשכת עוד אברכים לפעולות אלו) והן באיכות, וגודל השכר הרי מבואר בכמה וכמה מקומות.
