Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter, in which you tell me about the meeting that took place and the outreach action that is being considered toward our brethren, the Sefardim of the Holy Land, in everything concerning Judaism, the Torah* and the Mitzvos*. You ask me, in this regard, for references of Rabbanim*.
You know the view of our Torah*, Torah* of life, regarding success in all the domains of holiness. It is said: "Your beginning will be painful and your end, very prosperous." Now, the Baal Shem Tov* emphasizes that it is precisely when one begins with a "painful beginning" that one can hope, subsequently, for a "very prosperous end." There is therefore no need, for the time being, to concern oneself with expanding this action and finding the contact information of Rabbanim* (note 2: To want from the outset to give the action large dimensions). One must advance step by step. As you go along, you will clarify certain points, the means of access, and the possibilities of doing so. Then, you will be able to make a decision regarding your questions. With my blessing to convey good news of all this,

במענה למכתבו, בו כותב אודות האסיפה, ע"ד פעולה להתעוררות אחב"י הספרדים אשר באה"ק ת"ו לעניני יהדות תורה ומצות, ושואל ע"ד כתבת רבנים וכו'.
והנה ידועה דעת תורתנו תורת חיים בהנוגע להצלחת עניני קדושה, להתחיל באופן דראשיתך מצער [וכדיוק הבעש"ט, שאז] אחריתך ישגא מאד. שמזה מובן שאין עתה להתעסק בעשיית פרסום ולרכוש כתבת רבנים וכו', כ"א ללכת צעד אחר צעד, ובהליכה זו עצמה יתבררו כמה פרטים ואופני פעולות והכשרון לזה, ואז יוכלו להחליט בהנוגע לשאלותיו וכו'.
