Greetings and blessings,

I am responding to your letter of the luminous day of 18 Elul*, with the request for a blessing that was enclosed and which will be read, at a propitious moment, at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit will protect us.

I am not satisfied that you are considering teaching Torah* to mixed classes, for this is a way of endorsing such a manner of acting. Moreover, you even call into question the level of practice of the milieu in which you move. Now, He Who feeds each person has enabled you, until now, to ensure your livelihood. It is therefore certain that the same will be true this year, with goodness and mercy. In our era, education based on sacred values is particularly important and fundamental. Despite this, one must know how to wait for the moment that will make it possible to ensure that such difficulties no longer present themselves. With my blessing that you be definitively inscribed for a good year,

במענה למכתבו מיום הבהיר ח"י אלול עם הפ"נ המוסגר בו, שיקרא בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע,

לא נראית לי הסברא שילמוד בביה"ס בכתות מעורבות וכיו"ב, שהרי זה נתינת הכשר, ולא עוד אלא שגם מעין פרצות גדר דהנהגת החוג בו נמצא, והרי הזן ומפרנס לכל המציא לו פרנסתו עד עתה, ובודאי שגם בשנה זו החדשה ימציא לו פרנסתו בחן ובחסד וברחמים, ואף שבתקופתנו זו עבודה בחינוך עטה"ק ענין הכי נעלה וחיוני הוא, הרי עוד חזון למועד כשאפשר יהי' לסדר הדבר באופן שלא תהינה כל סרכות בהאמור.
