Igrot Kodesh · Letter 639 — Tzedakah

By the grace of Hashem,

3 Tammuz 5710,

To the young man, the Chassid*, Rav ...,

I greet you and bless you.

I reply to your letter.

May you be a worthy receptacle, in whom there may be fully accomplished the blessings, material and spiritual, that my father-in-law, the Rebbe, granted you.

You turned nineteen and you enter your twentieth year. The moment has therefore come to acquire the qualities specific to this age, which Chassidus* defines, according to Likkutei Torah Bamidbar, in the discourse entitled "At Twenty Years."
