Igrot Kodesh · Letter 6387 — Tzedakah

By the grace of Hashem*,

13 Tammuz* 5718,

Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter from after Shabbos* Chukas*, "This is the decree of the Torah*" (note 1: This letter was sent to numerous people). Having been yesterday, on 12 Tammuz*, at the resting place of the one whose joy we celebrate, my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, I mentioned your name in accordance with what you write to me.

May Hashem* grant that this day reveal, throughout the entire year, the deliverance from all that is an obstacle, materially and spiritually (note 2: The Rebbe notes at the bottom of the page: "One will consult the Turei Zahav* on the Shulchan Aruch*, section Orach Chaim*, chapter 670, paragraph 3, and the introduction of the Mitteler Rebbe* to the Shaarei Orah*"), a deliverance that one will be able to observe with one's eyes of flesh, as was the case "in those days, at this time," thirty-one years ago — the deliverance of our master and head, the head of Israel, on these days of 12 and 13 Tammuz*. And "the body follows the head" (note 3: See also Letter no. 6374). With my blessing to convey good news,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו ממוצש"ק זאת חקת התורה

ובהיותי אתמול, י"ב תמוז על הציון של בעל השמחה הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע הזכרתיו מתאים לתוכן כתבו.

ויהי רצון שימושך מיום זה לכל השנה גאולה מכל הענינים המבלבלים הן בגשם והן ברוח*, גאולה נראית גם לעיני בשר כמו שהי' בימים ההם בזמן הזה לפני ל"א שנה, גאולה רבנו נשיאנו ראש ישראל בימי י"ב וי"ג תמוז, וגופא בתר רישא אזיל.
