Igrot Kodesh · Letter 627 — Chinuch
Volume 3 · Letter 232
By the grace of Hashem,
19 Sivan 5710,
To Mrs. ...,
I bless you and greet you.
As you wished, I read your request for a blessing for your young nephew in the office of my father-in-law, the Rebbe.
A tzaddik who has departed this world is found here and acts here even more than during his lifetime. This is particularly true when it concerns a Rebbe in his relationship with his Chassidim — those who are attached to him, and the members of their families. He remains bound to them, continues to grant them his blessings, satisfies the needs of each one.
I would like to know what education this child receives at home, what the situation of Torah and Mitzvos* is in his house.
May Hashem grant that we always announce only good news.
With my blessing for the good,
Rav Menachem Schneerson
