I have duly received your letters, the two from 28 Nissan* and those from 1, 8, 11, and 12 Iyar*. You ask me what attitude to adopt toward this woman. You know the instruction of our masters according to which, in such a case, the essential thing is concrete accomplishment, in a pleasant manner. Of course, this in no way means that one should renounce what is connected to the fear of Hashem*, especially in the domain of education, for which every action, every modification has an implication for dozens of students, who will build Jewish homes and will therefore do so according to the education they have received. This is self-evident.

As for what concerns you personally, I have already written to you previously, emphasizing that your lot is a fortunate one. Divine Providence has entrusted to you a good portion. You must strengthen and develop the institutions of our masters in your country. The leader of the generation and, more broadly, the righteous are in the image of their Creator. They are never disloyal to their emissaries. They invoke divine mercy for them and infuse them with the necessary strength to carry out their mission in the best way. This is self-evident. With my blessing of success in your sacred mission and to convey good news of all this,

מאשרים בזה קבלת מכתביו מימי כח ניסן (ב' מכ') א, ח, יא, יב אייר.

במ"ש אודות הנהגתו עם פלונית תי' וכו' וכיו"ב - כבר ידועה הוראת רבותינו נשיאינו שהעיקר בכגון דא הוא הבאתם הענינים לידי פועל בדרכי נועם. אבל אין זה אומר כלל, שיש לוותר על הדברים הנוגעים ביר"ש וכיו"ב, וביחוד בשטח החינוך, שכל תנועה ושינוי נוגע לעשיריות תלמידים ותלמידות - העומדים לבנות בתים בישראל ולהעמיד הבתים באופן מתאים לחינוכם. וד"ל.

ובנוגע אליו לעצמו, כבר כתבתי מקודם, שאשרי חלקו שהשגחה עליונה העמידתו על חלק היפה, ביסוס והתפתחות מוסדות רבותינו נשיאינו במדינה... והרי הנשיא - וצדיקים בכלל - דומים לבוראם שאין באים בטרוניא עם השלוחים שלהם, ומעוררים ר"ר וממשיכים הכחות בכדי שהשלוחים יוכלו למלאות שליחותם בכי טוב, וק"ל.
