By the grace of Hashem*,

9 Iyar* 5718,

Shalom* u'vracha*,

I have duly received your letter of 4 Iyar*, announcing good news to me. Indeed, you are able to devote yourself to your sacred mission and to instill in your community a spirit of Torah* and Tradition, permeated with Chassidic* light, with peace of mind.

May Hashem* grant that you carry out this mission to the full extent of what is expected of you. You know the teaching of our Sages* according to which "the Holy One, blessed be He, does not act with treachery toward His creatures" and "the burden depends on the camel." Everything therefore depends on your will, all the more so since in this matter, you have witnessed obvious miracles. Now, if one can suffice with a celestial hint, how much more must it be so for what is clearly designated. If you do everything in your power to ensure your moral sustenance, which depends only on you, for "everything is in the hands of Hashem*, except the fear of Hashem*," you will fully ensure your material sustenance, which depends on Hashem*, Who "feeds and sustains each one." With my blessing to convey good news of all this,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו מד' אייר עם הבשו"ט אשר יכול הוא לעסוק בעבודתו בקדש להחדיר קהלתו ברוח התורה והמסורה חדורים אור חסידותי מתוך מנוחת הנפש.

ויהי רצון שימלא תפקידו זה ככל הדרוש מאתו, שהרי ידוע מרז"ל שאין הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו ולפום גמלא שיחנא ואין הדבר תלוי אלא ברצונו, ובפרט שראה נסים גלוים בענינו האמור, ואם רמז מלמעלה צ"ל די עאכו"כ ההוראה באצבע, וכשיעשה ככל התלוי בו בהנוגע לפרנסתו ברוחניות שבידו ובו תלוי, כי הכל בידי שמים חוץ מיר"ש, יתמלא ככל הדרוש לפרנסתו בגשמיות התלוי בהשי"ת הזן ומפרנס לכל.
