Blessings and greetings (note 1: This letter is addressed to a woman),

I am responding to your letter from this Friday, with what it contained. At a propitious moment, I will mention your name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, so that you may obtain the satisfaction of your needs, in accordance with what you write in your letter. You are considering buying a house, rather than renting one, and this suits me (note 2: See, on this subject, Letter no. 6215). Indeed, it is a pity to lose the rental expenses that one pays to other people, when this amount can serve for the repayment of a loan (note 3: A mortgage, enabling a definitive acquisition). May Hashem* grant that you convey good news of this as well.

I hope that your husband, the Rav*, has reported to you, as well as to the members of your family, some points from the Chassidic* gathering he attended. We have heard many times from our holy masters that the purpose and objective of a Chassidic* gathering are to transmit its words also to the members of the family. Moreover, in this case, the topic was the merit and responsibility of the women of Israel. I also await good news in this regard, for this implies increased activity on the part of the Chabad* women and girls of your city. With my blessing to convey good news of all this,

I am surprised by your conclusion. You tell me that you wrote me a long letter and that you did not send it. Why did you not do so, since it was already written?

בעת רצון אזכירה על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך לה מתאים לתוכן כתבה.

ונראית בעיני הסברא שכותבת ע"ד קנין בית, ולא שכירות, שהרי חבל על דמי השכירות שמשלמים לאחרים בה בשעה שיכולים בכסף זה לשלם המשכנתא, ויהי רצון שגם בזה תבשר טוב.

תקותי שבעלה הרב שי' סיפר לה ולב"ב שי' בכלל נקודות מההתועדות שהי' נוכח, שהרי כמה פעמים שמענו מכ"ק רבותינו נשיאינו שזוהי מהתכלית ומטרת ההתועדות, שיבאו הדברים גם לבני ביתם של אלו המתועדים, וביחוד שהרי נדבר גם כן על דבר זכותן ואחריותן של בנות ישראל, ואחכה לבשורות טובות גם בזה, שהרי הדברים מעוררים להוספה בפעולות נשי ובנות ישראל אשר ב...ובזה גם במסגרת נשי חב"ד.
