By the grace of Hashem*,

Shalom* u'vracha*,

Although you do not speak of it, I have good hope that you are aware of what is reported orally or even in print regarding the generosity that a Jew must show toward his fellow. When one hears words of encouragement, of Chassidus*, one must not keep them to oneself, for ordinarily, they then remain without effect, including upon oneself. It is a necessity to transmit them to others.

It is therefore in this way that these words have an increased effect, including upon oneself, as one can concretely verify and as our Sages* teach, who say: "I have learned from my students more than from all others."

... אף שאינו מזכיר עד"ז תקותי חזקה שיודע ע"ד המסופר בע"פ וגם בהנדפסים, שצ"ל עין איש הישראלי טובה גם בשל אחרים, וכששומעים דברי התעוררות ודברי חסידות, לא להטמינם בצלחת, שאז ע"פ הרוב אינו פועל אפילו על עצמו, אלא להשתדל למסור אותם גם לאחרים שאז מתגדלת גם הפעולה בהנוגע לעצמו, וכנראה במוחש וע"ד מארז"ל, ומתלמידי יותר מכולם.
