To the distinguished Rabinovitch family,

may they live long, Boston

I greet you and bless you,

I come, by the present letter, to express my deep sympathy to you, following the loss of the father and husband, the well-known Chassid*, the Rav Meir David [1].

He was for us a personal friend and devoted to all the institutions of my father-in-law, the Rebbe Shlita*, and his memory will remain deeply engraved in all hearts.

The good Hashem will console you, among all the mourners of Tzion* and of Yerushalayim*.

Very dear Rabinovitch family,

There is currently a great shortage of Tanya* and the printing of a new edition would be particularly useful. I therefore propose to you to create a fund bearing the name of your dear father and husband in order to reprint the Tanya for the elevation of the soul of the late Rav David Meir [2].

It is unnecessary for me to specify how important this is and the immense pleasure that you will thus procure for the soul of the deceased. Our friend, Rav Yisrael Jacobson will personally transmit other details to you and I hope that you will consider this proposal with the greatest interest.

With my blessing of long life and that "Hashem will wipe the tears from all faces,"
