By the grace of Hashem*,

Shalom* u'vracha*,

I have duly received your letter, whose delivery was delayed more than usual. At a propitious moment, I will mention your name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, in accordance with what you write. It is customary for each person to mention this name in the Holy Tongue, as well as that of the mother. You will no doubt communicate all these names to me.

At the end of your letter, you express the wish to settle in the country. To someone like you, it is surely unnecessary to explain at length that the Holy Land is, as its name indicates, a place of holiness. Everything else is merely the consequence, the effect of all of this. If this element is a necessity in other countries, how much more must it be in Eretz Yisrael*, "toward which the eyes of Hashem* are always turned, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year." Now, "the Holy One, blessed be He, does not act with treachery toward His creatures." It is therefore certain that the necessary forces are granted in order to put into practice this divine commandment and request. May Hashem* grant that you convey good news of all this to me. And, it is evident that He will accomplish what is said in His Torah*: "You shall walk in My Statutes," with all the blessings that are stated in that Parshah*. With my blessing to convey good news,

מאשר הנני קבלת מכתבו, שנתארך דרך הילוכו יותר על הרגיל, ובעת רצון יזכירוהו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע מתאים לתוכן כתבו. וכיון שהנוהג להזכיר בהשם בלשון הקדש בצירוף שם האם של כל אחד, בודאי יודיע השמות כאמור.

ולסיום מכתבו שיזכה להתנחל בארץ וכו' - בודאי למותר להאריך לדכוותי' אשר אה"ק ענינה כתוכן שם זה, קדושה, וכל השאר בא כתוצאה ובהמשך לזה, ז.א. שאם בחוץ לארץ כאו"א מצווה על זה, עאכו"כ וביותר באה"ק ת"ו עלי' נאמר עיני ה"א בה מראשית השנה ועד אחרית שנה, וכיון שאין הקב"ה בא בטרוניא עם בריותיו, בודאי שניתנו הכחות והאפשריות למלאות ציווי ובקשת הקב"ה זו, ויהי רצון שיבשר טוב, בכל האמור, ובטוח השי"ת למלאות מה שאמור בתורתו, בחקתי תלכו וגו' ונתתי גשמיכם בעתם גו' ככל הברכות האמורות בפרשה.
