By the grace of Hashem*,

Shalom* u'vracha*,

After a particularly long interruption, I have received your letter informing me of good news, since you tell me that your state of health is better. May Hashem* grant that you recover your strength soon and that you celebrate the approaching festivals in peace, in good health, and with genuine breadth of mind.

You also mention this young woman, may Hashem* grant her long life. At a propitious moment, I will mention her name at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, so that she may obtain the satisfaction of her needs in general, good health and a match that truly suits her, in particular. You inform me of her health problems (note 1: This young woman had been the victim of a sudden nervous breakdown. Subsequently, this crisis disappeared without leaving a trace). We must however hold to what our Torah*, Torah* of life, says, according to which this mitzvah* (note 2: That of marrying, despite the medical history, in this case) is very important. It is even the first one that it states. Now, our masters emphasize that the order in which the Torah* is presented is an integral part of it and it also delivers a teaching. In this case, this young woman fears Hashem* and she is modest, which is also reflected in her behavior. Hashem* will therefore grant her the success of building a Jewish home, an eternal edifice, and of having a progeny blessed by Hashem*. May the Almighty grant that this be so and that, in her surroundings, what happened be completely forgotten, that no trace of it remain, and that she convey good news of her establishment (note 3: Of her marriage).

On the occasion of the days of Pesach* that are approaching, I conclude my letter with a blessing that this festival be kosher* and joyful, for you and for all the members of your family, may Hashem* grant them long life. With my respects and my blessing on the occasion of the festival,

לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מבשר טוב מהטבת מצב בריאותו, ויהי רצון שיחזור לאיתנו בקרוב ויחוג את החגים ומועדים הבאים לקראתנו לשלום מתוך בריאות והרחבת הדעת אמיתית.

בעת רצון אזכירה על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להמצטרך לה בכלל ובזה בריאות ושידוך טוב באמת וביחוד.

ובמ"ש אשר עבר עלי' בנוגע לבריאותה, הרי אנו אין לנו אלא הכתוב בתורתנו תורת חיים, אשר המצוה האמורה מצוה רבה היא וראשונה בסדר המצות אשר בתורה, וכידוע פתגם רבותינו נשיאנו, אשר הסדר בתורה ג"כ תורה והוראה היא, וכיון אשר יראת ה' היא וצנועה ומתנהגת בהתאם לזה, יצליח השי"ת חלקה לבנות בית בישראל בנין עדי עד בזרע ברך ה'. ויהי רצון שהיא וכן בסביבתה יסיחו דעת לגמרי ממה שעבר ולא נשאר רושם כלל ותבשר טוב בהנוגע להסתדרותה האמורה.
