By the grace of Hashem*,

Blessings and greetings,

Your husband, the Rav*, may Hashem* grant him long life, has informed me that you are celebrating your birthday (note 1: See the following letter, which is addressed to the husband). May Hashem* grant that the coming year bring you peace, that it be good and fruitful, bringing you visible and tangible good. Of course, the more you strengthen your trust in Hashem*, Who creates the world and directs it, Who grants each person His Providence, the more you will receive from Him, here below, increased blessings. In this way, the blessing and the success will be even broader.

And, you know the teaching of our Torah*, Torah* of life, according to which a person must be joyful and enthusiastic. Indeed, all the days, all the moments and hours constituting these days, are consecrated to the service of the Creator, as it is said: "You shall serve Hashem* your Elokim* with joy and enthusiasm." How much more is this the case for a woman, mistress of her home. Common experience proves that the state of mind of the home depends on that of the woman. And, the blessing is revealed only through joy. We have received the commandment to act thus (note 2: To be truly joyful) and we therefore have the means to do so. Moreover, if you reflect, even briefly, you will observe Hashem's* kindness, in the past, toward you and your husband. Without a doubt, it will be so again in the future.

As I have said, the vessel enabling the revelation and reception of the blessing is firm trust in Hashem*, deep and genuine joy. May Hashem* grant that, this year, the wishes of your heart be fulfilled and that He grant you a healthy child. With my blessing to convey good news of all this and for a kosher* and joyful festival of Pesach*, materially and spiritually,

ברכה ושלום!

במענה לההודעה ע"י בעלה הרב שליט"א מיום הולדתה, הנה יהי רצון שתהי' השנה הבאה לקראתה לשלום שנה טובה ומוצלחת בטוב הנראה והנגלה.

ומובן וגם פשוט שככל שיתגדל הבטחון בהשי"ת בורא העולם ומנהיגו המשגיח על כל אחד ואחת בהשגחה פרטית תתוסף גם המשכת ברכות השי"ת למטה ותתגדל מדת הברכה וההצלחה, וכבר ידוע הוראת תורתנו תורת חיים, אשר על האדם להיות בשמחה ובטוב לבב, שהרי כל ימיו וכל שעות ורגעים שבימים אלו מוקדשים הם לעבודת הבורא וכמ"ש עבדת את ה"א בשמחה ובטוב לבב, ובמכל שכן שצריך להיות כן בהנוגע לאשה עקרת הבית, וכנראה במוחש שמצב הרוח בבית תלוי במצב רוח האשה, ואין הברכה שורה אלא מתוך שמחה, וכיון שנצטוינו על זה בודאי שאפשר הדבר, ובפרט כשתתבונן אפילו לשעה קלה תראה חסדי השי"ת עמה ועם בעלה שי' בעבר ובודאי יומשכו גם בעתיד וכנ"ל הכלי להמשיך הברכה ולקבלה, תוקף הבטחון ושמחה פנימית ואמיתית, ויהי רצון אשר בשנה זו ימלא השי"ת משאלות לבבם לטובה בזחו"ק.

בברכה ולבשו"ט בכל האמור ולחג פסח כשר ושמח בגו"ר.
