Igrot Kodesh · Letter 6142 — Geulah
Volume 16 · Letter 371
By the grace of Hashem*,
29 Adar* 5718,
Brooklyn,
To the association of Chabad* women and girls in Montreal, may Hashem* grant you long life,
Blessings and greetings,
I have received, with pleasure, your letter of 27 Adar* with what was enclosed — your participation in the tzedakah* of Pesach* for Kfar Chabad* in our Holy Land, may it be restored and rebuilt. May Hashem* grant that your activity develop unceasingly, in quantity and in quality. Without a doubt, this will multiply the blessings of Hashem* for each one and for all the participants, with the members of their families, in all their material and spiritual needs. Moreover, we find ourselves between Purim* and Pesach*. Now, the miracle of Purim* was fully revealed through the intermediary of a Jewish woman, Queen Esther*. And, as our Sages* emphasize regarding Pesach*, the deliverance from Egypt also occurred through the merit of the virtuous women. Furthermore, it is said that the final deliverance will also be like that of Egypt, when "as in the days of your exodus from Egypt, I will show you wonders."
We belong to the last generation, just before the final deliverance. By adopting the proper conduct themselves and by influencing others to do the same, Jewish women can and must have the merit of being those who will soon reveal the true and complete redemption, speedily through our righteous Mashiach*.
I send my blessing for a kosher* and joyful festival of Pesach* to each of the participants, with the members of their families.
