Blessings and greetings,

I am responding to your letter from this Sunday. At a propitious moment, I will mention your name and that of your husband at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us, in accordance with the content of your letter, particularly for good health and for the resolution of your housing problem.

It is surely unnecessary to point out to you that every person has important domains, to which he gives priority, and others, less essential, which come only in second or third rank. Among the most important concerns are the satisfaction of children and health. And, even if a problem arises at the second or third rank, it is clear that one must first satisfy the primary needs.

It is indeed so in your case. Hashem* has shown you great kindness and has granted you Jewish satisfaction from your children and grandchildren. It is the same for your health, especially if you compare your current state to the previous situation. You must, every day, thank Hashem* and praise Him for His immense kindness. Even more importantly, you must strengthen your trust in Hashem* and be convinced that in this matter as well, you will observe the blessings of Hashem* and His success in all your needs. There is therefore absolutely no reason to take your housing problem to heart. The outcome will no doubt truly be the best possible, even if one sometimes has difficulty imagining it.

The answer to your housing question is therefore the following. In my opinion, one must act in the normal way, not rush to take an apartment. The problem will surely arise after the festival of Pesach*. And, if a good opportunity presents itself before this festival, it would perhaps be good to seize it, which will avoid spending the festival in the old house. But, as I said above, the essential thing is to strengthen your trust in Hashem*. In this way, you will indeed observe the blessing and the success.
