Our very dear friend, Rabbi Moshe Yitzchak Hecht, informed us with enthusiasm of your decision to put on Tefillin* every weekday.
From the depth of my heart and with a profound feeling of love, I pay tribute to you for this very important decision.
A head that wears Tefillin functions in a Jewish manner. A heart near which Tefillin are placed feels in a Jewish manner. A hand bound by Tefillin turns away from bad actions and always accomplishes good ones.
The Torah* and the Mitzvot* are our life. The fact that you put on Tefillin constitutes a joy for you and for your family, a good for our entire people, a support for the country in which we find ourselves.
One Mitzvah* draws another and a chain is thus created.
We wish you to continue your moral ascent, to be in good health and to know material abundance.

ידידינו החשוב מאד הרה״ג ר׳ משה יצחק שי׳ הכט מסר לנו
בהתלהבות אודות החלטתו להניח תפילין כל יום חול.
מעומק הלב וברגש של אהבת ישראל הננו מברכים אותו בצעדו
החשוב ביותר.
ראש שמניחים עליו תפילין חושב כיהודי ,הלב שלידו מניחים תפילין
רחוקה ממעשים רעים ,אלא
חש כמו לב יהודי ויד הקשורה בתפילין
עושה תמיד מעשים טובים.
תורה ומצוות הם חיינו ,הנחת התפילין שלו היא אושר עבורו ועבור
משפחתו ,זו טובה לכל עמנו והגנה לארץ בה אנו נמצאים.
מצוה גוררת מצוה ,ממצוה אחת באים לשני׳ וכן הלאה.
הננו מאחלים לו שילך מחיל אל חיל ברוחניות ויהי׳ בריא ומאושר גם
יו״ר ועד הפועל :מרכז לעניני חינוך.
