I am responding to your letter and to the leaflet that was attached to it. I read therein, with great pleasure, that you have finally had the opportunity to accede to my request and to transmit the message to Mr. Z. (note 2: Zerubavel. See, on his subject, Letter no. 5907). It is particularly judicious that you did not engage in controversy and polemics, for that was not the purpose.
It follows that one must not engage in polemics in the future either. You have fulfilled my mission and I, too, have assumed mine. Consequently, there was no reason to send me this leaflet. Should a copy of what I said about him, in the letter I addressed to you, be conveyed to him? Such a step must not be taken on your initiative. If Mr. Z. seeks an occasion to meet you or to correspond with you and if he expressly asks for a copy of these remarks, you will give it to him. As long as this is not the case, you will do nothing of the sort.
I hope that your daughter is doing much better. I also await good news on this subject.

לאחר הפסק ארוך שמחתי לקבל את מכתבה מי״ב שבט ,בו כותבת
אודות סדרי האסיפות של נשי ובנות חב״ד בלונדון ,ואף שאינה מזכירה
אודות כך ,בטח עושים כל האפשרי כדי להגדיל את מספר המשתתפות
באסיפות ובלימוד ,וגם שהמשתתפות הקודמות תתעניינה יותר ,שאחת
הדרכים בזה היא ,לתת להן את הפשרות מזמן לזמן ,שהן עצמן יקריאו
)לאחר הכנה מתאימה( והדומה ,והשם יתברך יעזור שזה יהי׳ בהצלחה
גדולה ,ועל פי המבואר בתורתנו הק׳ שאצל כל העושים והמשתדלים בזה
נוסף בברכות מהשם יתברך במצטרך להם ולבני ביתם.
והשם יתברך יעזור שתבשר בשורות טובות באמור לעיל ,וגם,
בקרוב ,אודות הטבת בריאותה ,וביחד עם בעלה שי׳ לאורך ימים ושנים
טובות יהי׳ להם רוב נחת אמיתי ,שזהו נחת חסידי ,מכל ילדיהם שיחיו.
