I have received your letter, in which you briefly describe the Chassidic* farbrengen* that took place at a propitious moment (note 1: This letter was addressed to several persons). May Hashem* grant that these words of inspiration exercise their effect, in accordance with the statement of the Mishnah* according to which "action is essential and not theory." Moreover, we have just experienced the day of the Hilloula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, our leader (note 2: On 10 Shevat). Each year, he receives a new elevation, including compared to that of the preceding year.

It is stated that "the body follows the head," which means that those who are attached to him, in relation with him, conforming to his teachings, follow him, even if an initiative, an action accomplished here below, is necessary for this. This is also what the Tikunim* indicate, and this statement also appears in Iggeres HaKodesh*, which only partially reproduces the explanation. For the moment, I have just found this explanation in the Zohar*, volume 3, page 273a. You will also consult page 216b, as well as the Tikunim*, Tikun* 69, pages 112a and 114a, and Tikun* 70, page 138a. But, perhaps there is a transcription error in Iggeres HaKodesh*, inspired by what the Tanya* states in chapter 44: "in the Tikunim*." This passage is cited in Iggeres HaKodesh*, chapter 27: "like the sun that shines, under the earth, to the six hundred thousand stars."

ויהי רצון שיפעלו דברי התעוררות פעולתם מתאים לדבר משנה, לא המדרש עיקר אלא המעשה, ובפרט שהרי זה עתה באנו מיום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיאנו, אשר בכל שנה ושנה עולה בעילוי אחר עילוי גם לגבי העלי' דשנה שלפני', וגופא - אלו המקושרים, השייכים וההולכים בהדרכתו - בתר רישא אזיל (אלא שמובן שצ"ל גם אתעדל"ת וגם פעולות התחתון), וכמובן גם ממאמר התיקונים (כן הוא באגה"ק. ולע"ע מצאתי כל הענין בזח"ג רעג, א. וראה ג"כ שם רטז, ב. ובתיקונים (תס"ט קיב, א. קיד, א.

ת"ע קלח, א) מצאתי רק חלק מהמבואר באגה"ק שם. - ואולי טעות המעתיק הוא באגה"ק - ונשתרבב לו ממש"כ בתניא פמ"ד "בהתיקונים") המובא באגה"ק סי' ז"ך כמו שמש המאיר מתחת לארץ לששים רבוא כוכבים.
