Shalom* u'vracha*,
I am responding to your letter of 23 Shevat*, in which you tell me that you have begun a medical treatment with your physician.
It would be good to continue this treatment. May Hashem* grant that it be fruitful and bring you a speedy recovery. It is no doubt unnecessary to underscore to you that the more you strengthen the health of your soul — by studying the revealed dimension and the hidden teaching of the Torah*, by fulfilling the mitzvos* in the best manner — the more you will strengthen your physical health, including with regard to the condition you cite. You will also consult the Likkutei Torah*, Parshas* Devarim*, at the Chassidic* discourse entitled: "For this mitzvah," commenting on the verse: "You shall be wholehearted."
With my blessing to intensify your study of the Torah*, your practice of the mitzvos*, and to convey good news of all this,

במענה למכתבו מכ"ג שבט, בו כותב אשר התחיל טפול רפואי אצל רופא,
ומהנכון להמשיך בהטפול ויהי רצון שיהי' בהצלחה ולרפואה קרובה, ובודאי למותר לעוררו שככל שיוסיף בבריאות הנשמה, ז.א. בלימוד התורה הנגלה והנסתר וקיום המצות בהידור יתוסף גם בבריאות הגוף ובזה גם המיחוש אודותו כותב, ויעיין ג"כ בלקו"ת פ' דברים ד"ה כי המצוה הזאת עה"פ תמים תהי'.
