Why must you enter into this game (note 2: This speculation — "gambling" in English in the original text)? Hashem* possesses various means of satisfying a person's needs, without it being necessary for him to have recourse to what causes disappointment.
No doubt you maintain the studies of the Chumash*, the Tehillim*, and the Tanya*. At the very least, you will adopt them in the future, without making a vow of it.
