By the grace of Hashem*,

To the students of the preparatory class of the holy Yeshivah* Toras Emes*, in the holy city of Jerusalem, may it be restored and rebuilt, may Hashem* grant you long life,

Shalom* u'vracha*,

I received, with pleasure, your letter from the eve of the luminous day of the Hilloula* of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, whose merit protects us. You inform me of your decision to maintain true love and friendship among yourselves, to respect the study times of the Yeshivah*, quantitatively and qualitatively, to exchange among yourselves from time to time in order to strengthen study, as well as conduct based on the ways of Chassidus* and of Chassidim*.

May Hashem* grant that the merit of the one whose Hilloula* we celebrate — who gave of himself in order to spread Judaism in general, Chassidus* and what concerns it in particular — protect you, so that your decision be enduring, for long days and years, in an ever-increasing manner, as our Torah*, Torah* of truth, commands. It is stated that "the language of truth is maintained for eternity." How much more so does this apply to the attribute of truth and, even more, to the true truth. Chassidus* defines the three levels that are the language of truth, truth, and the true truth. You must do everything in your power in this matter, for it is stated precisely: "And you shall choose life." This effort accomplished here below arouses the celestial revelation, which is beyond all comparison, as can be deduced from the following teaching of our Sages*: "Make for Me an opening like the eye of a needle and I will open for you the equivalent of the entrance to the Sanctuary."

May Hashem* grant that, from this preparatory class, you advance, in due time, to the subsequent stages, that you set a good example of the conduct of a student attending an institution founded by our holy masters, whose merit protects us, and directed by them. I await good news of your progress and your advancement in all of this, from one stage to the next.

בנועם קבלתי מכתבם מאור ליום הבהיר הוא יום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, בו כותבים אודות החלטתם להשרות האהבה ואחוה אמיתית ביניהם, לשמור הסדרים של הישיבה הן בכמות והן באיכות ולהתדבר ביניהם מזמן לזמן על דבר חיזוק הלימוד והנהגה בדרכי החסידות והחסידים.

ויהי רצון אשר זכות בעל ההילולא אשר מסר נפשו הק' על הפצת היהדות בכלל והחסידות ועניני' ביחוד, תעמוד להם שתהי' החלטתם בת קיימא לאורך ימים ושנים, ובאופן כמצווה בתורתנו תורת אמת דמוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור, והרי נאמר שפת אמת תכון לעד, עאכו"כ במדת אמת, וביותר באמת לאמיתו, וכמבואר בדא"ח בשלשת החילוקים דשפת אמת, אמת, ואמת לאמיתו, ואף שעליהם מוטל לעשות כל התלוי בהם בכל האמור וכמ"ש ובחרת דוקא בחיים, אבל אתעדל"ת זו מביאה אתעדל"ע ובאופן בלי ערך, כמובן ממרז"ל פתחו לי כחודה של מחט ואני אפתח לכם כפתחו של אולם.

ויהי רצון אשר מהמכינה יעלו בעתם ובזמנם מדרגא לדרגא וישמשו דוגמא חי' להנהגת תלמיד מוסד אשר מיסודו הוא של רבותנו נשיאנו זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע ובהנהלתם, ואחכה לבשו"ט מהתקדמותם והליכתם מחיל אל חיל בכל האמור.
