To the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem* and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav Meir Shalom (note 1: Rav M. Sh. Blisinski, of Ramat Gan. See, on his subject, Letter no. 5390),

Shalom* u'vracha*,

After a particularly long interruption, I received your letter of 5 Shevat*, in which you describe to me, though very briefly, your actions of disseminating the wellsprings (note 2: Of Chassidus*). May Hashem* grant that you convey good news of your elevation in holiness and of your penetration of the exterior, step by step, just as it is said that the "Encompassing Lights," at the present time, will enter into the interior, in the World to Come. Then, even more elevated "Encompassing Lights" will be revealed. Now, the same applies in the domain of evil. When one transforms the exterior into interior, before the coming of Moshiach*, one can still find another exterior domain in which it is possible to act and which one can invest. This is self-evident.

I appreciate that you remain in contact with the persons you mention, who exercise a broad influence. No doubt you will develop, in various ways, their capacity to influence. I mean that it is fitting to deepen it among various persons, as has been said regarding the exterior, and also concerning their own exterior, step by step. This is self-evident.

May Hashem* grant that the merit of the one whose Hilloula* we have just celebrated (note 3: The Frierdiker Rebbe*, on 10 Shevat) bring considerable success to your actions, in all the domains for which he gave of himself. And, may the blessing of Hashem* and the success He grants be strengthened for whoever makes efforts in this regard, as well as for the members of his family, materially and spiritually.

לאחרי הפסק הכי ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מה' שבט, בו כותב אף כי בקיצור הכי נמרץ מפעולותיו בהפצת המעינות. ויהי רצון אשר יבשר טוב בזה מאשר מעלין בקדש וחודרים לחוצה דרגא אחר דרגא וע"ד המבואר בהנוגע לעתיד לבוא דהמקיפים דעתה יכנסו בפנימיות ויהיו מקיפים מבחינה יותר עליונה, הנה גם בלעו"ז כשמהפכים החוצה לפנים, הרי קודם שבא משיח תמיד מוצאים עדייןם עוד דרגא בחוצה שיש לפעול שם ולחדור לתוכה, וק"ל.

נהניתי ממה שעומד בקישור עם אלה היחידים אשר השפעה להם על הרבים אודותם כותב, ובודאי מוסיף בהם באופני השפעתו, כוונתי לעומקה וע"ד האמור למעלה בהנוגע לחוצה באנשים שונים וע"ד זה הוא גם בהנוגע לחוצה באלו האנשים עצמם זמן אחר זמן וק"ל.

ויהי רצון אשר זכות בעל ההילולא שזה עתה אזלינן מני' תביא הצלחה מופלגה בפעולותיו בכל השטחים עליהם מסר נפשו הק' ויתוסף ברכת השי"ת והצלחתו בכל הפרטים של כאו"א מהמשתדלים הם וב"ב שי' בגשמיות וברוחניות.
