To the attention of Mr. Yitzchak Korn (note 1: See, on his subject, Letter no. 5237),

Shalom* u'vracha*,

After an interruption, I received, with pleasure, your letter of 17 Teves*. I was pleased to learn therein of your intervention intended to develop the agricultural activity of Kfar Chabad* and of your consultation with the committee of the Kfar*, in this matter. I hope that all of this will be followed by concrete results, as soon as possible.

Indeed, the time has come to consider the creation of a second Kfar Chabad* (note 2: See, on this subject, Letter no. 6011). One must, of course, strengthen the current Kfar*, to the full extent of the need, and this will also contribute to the development of the second Kfar*. From what I recall of our conversation during your visit here, I have good hope that you will grant your assistance generously in this matter. I therefore take the liberty of communicating the content of the present letter to the committee of Kfar Chabad*. May Hashem* grant that the success be considerable.

Immediately after the Chassidishe farbrengen* of 19 Kislev* at Kfar Chabad*, I learned with pleasure that you participated in the celebration. Now, I read with satisfaction in your letter that you were deeply impressed by it. A saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, which was mentioned during this celebration — during which there was considerable crowding, to the point that there were concerns for your health — states that: "a Jew cannot be jostled." Despite this, I grant you that a larger venue should be arranged at the Kfar*, in order to receive, at these celebrations, a large crowd, may Hashem* multiply it. I am writing to the Kfar* to this effect and, there too, I hope that the participants will multiply, that they will be ever more numerous.

לאחרי ההפסק, קבלתי בנועם מכתבו מי"ז בטבת, והי' לי קורת רוח לקרוא בו ע"ד השתדלותו בענין קידום עניני החקלאות בכפר חב"ד, ההתיעצויות בזה עם ועד הכפר וכו'. ותקותי אשר הענינים יגיעו לשלב המעשי ובהקדם.

ובפרט אשר כבר הגיעה העת לבצע ענין יסוד כפר חב"ד שני. ומובן אשר ביסוס הכפר העכשוי כלל הדרוש, הוא גם הקדמה ליסוד והתפתחות הכפר השני. עד כמה שאני זוכר תוכן שיחתנו בעת ביקור כ' כאן, מקוה הנני לעזרתו רחבה בזה, ולכן ארשה לעצמי לכתוב לועד כפר חב"ד תוכן מכתבי לכ'. ויהי רצון שיהי' בהצלחה מופלגה.

תיכף לאחרי התועדות י"ט כסלו בכפר חב"ד - נעמה לי הידיעה משם ע"ד השתתפות כ' בחגיגה, ועתה שמחתי לקרוא במכתבו ע"ד התרשמותו העמוקה מחגיגה זו. ולמרות פתגמו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - (שנאמר בשעת חגיגה כזו שהיתה בה צפיפות גדולה ביותר וחששו לבריאותו) "א איד קוועטשט מיר ניט", הנני מסכים עם כ' ע"ד הצורך לסדר מקום מרווח בכפר חב"ד מתאים לקלוט הקהל הרב, כ"י, הבאים להשתתף בחגיגות. וכותב הנני לכפר עד"ז. ותקותי אשר גם זה - ירבה קהל המשתתפים וכן יראה וכן יפרוץ.
