I learned yesterday that within the Brandeis department, one senses the desire to seek a religious way of life, even if, at present, one may wonder whether these persons understand exactly what they are seeking. But you know the saying of my father-in-law, the Rebbe*, according to which: "when the soul thirsts for the divine spark, the body, even if it does not feel it, even if it does not understand it, experiences a thirst to struggle."

I send you my blessing for success in spreading authentic Yiddishkeit* — that is, the concrete practice of mitzvos* — in every place you can reach, with breadth of spirit. And you will convey good news to me.
