To the Rav*, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem* and devotes himself to communal needs, of manifold accomplishments, Rav Avraham Chanoch* (note 1: Rav A. C. Glitsenstein, of Lod. See, on his subject, Letter no. 5871),

I have received your letters of 29 Kislev*, 1st and 11th of Teves*. I have also obtained the photographs of the Chassidishe farbrengen* and its recording. I thank you very much.

You refer to the Bitaon* (note 2: The Bitaon Chabad, 18 Elul edition, published with delay. See, on this subject, Letter no. 5871) and I did not quite understand what you meant. In any case, it is not good to omit an issue, nor to include it in the next publication. In my opinion, one should therefore publish first the one for 18 Elul*, then the one for 10 Shevat*. Indeed, these issues are kept and read subsequently, on those same dates. There is therefore no reason to eliminate them.

I have already written to several Chassidim* and, it seems to me, also to you yourself, to emphasize that you must strive to maintain contact with those you met during these Chassidishe farbrengens*, in particular the one of 19 Kislev*. Indeed, one can almost always hope for an effective contribution, for both parties, from such contacts. You will no doubt convey this message to those who can intervene in this domain. May Hashem* grant that you achieve success in this as well.

במ"ש אודת הבטאון, אין ברורה כוונתו, ובכ"א אין כדאי לדלג על חוברת וגם לא לכללה עם חוברת שבאה אחרי', ולדעתי יו"ל החוברת דח"י אלול ואח"כ החוברת ליו"ד שבט הבע"ל, והרי נשמרות החוברות ונקראות בימים הבאים, ואל יחסר המזג.

כבר כתבתי לכמה מאנ"ש, וכמדומה גם לו, שבטח משתדלים להמשיך בקשר עם אלו שנפגשים אתם בזמני התועדות בכלל וכהתועדות י"ט כסלו ביחוד, שבודאי ברובם ככולם יש לקוות לתועלת מקשר כזה לשני הצדדים. ובטח ימסור האמור לאלו שיכולים לפעול בזה, ויהי רצון שגם בזה תהי' הצלחה.
