I bless you and greet you,

I am following up on the visit here of your husband and your sons, during which it was said that what is known (note 1: Presumably the wearing of a sheitel. See, on this subject, Letters no. 5333 and 6105) still presents difficulties. It seems that this is the reason for the delay (note 2: Due to the fact that the woman to whom this letter is addressed still does not wear it) until now.

As you know, our Sages* give the assurance, in the Mishnah*, that "the reward is proportionate to the effort." Moreover, if one reflects upon all of this, one will agree that this discomfort (note 3: Resulting from wearing a sheitel) is imaginary rather than real, especially if one takes into account the reward. Indeed, the holy Zohar*, volume 3, page 126a, states in this regard: "If you do thus, your children shall be greater than other men, your husband shall be blessed in all domains — wealth, children, grandchildren." This is in addition to the reward itself — that of this practice and that which reveals an abundant blessing for all the members of the family.

Without doubt, Hashem*, may He be blessed and praised, will fulfill this promise. You yourself and your husband will educate your children to Torah*, to the marriage canopy, and to good deeds, in true abundance, material and spiritual alike.

בהמשך לביקורה עם בעלה ובניהם שליט"א כאן, בו התבטא שהענין הידוע הי' קשור בקישוים, שכנראה זה הי' ביאור על עכוב הענין עד עתה.

אבל נודע הבטחת חכמנו במשנתם לפום צערא אגרא, ובפרט שכאשר מתבוננים בהענין, רואים אשר הצער יותר בדמיון מאשר במציאות, ובפרט בהעריך שכר הדבר, ובלשון הזהר (ח"ג קכו, א) הק' בשכר הדבר, וז"ל: אי עבדת כן כו' בנהא יסתלקון דחשיבו על שאר בני עמא בעלה מתברך בכולא בעותרא, בבנין בבני בנים, נוסף על שכרה עצמה, שכרה מצד הענין ושכרה מפני שממשיכה שפע ברכה לכל בני ביתם.

ובודאי יקיים השם יתברך ויתעלה הבטחתו האמורה, והיא ובעלה שיחיו יגדלו את ילידיהם שיחיו לתורה ולחופה ולמעשים טובים מתוך הרחבה אמיתית בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.
