To the Rav*, distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem* and devotes

himself to communal needs, Rav Avraham* (note 1: Rav A. Pariz, of Petach Tikva. See, on his subject, Letter no. 4420),

Shalom* u'vracha*,

I am responding to your letter of 11 Kislev* and to those that preceded it. It is obvious that this year as well, as in previous years, you should distribute the Chanukah* gelt. If you have doubts regarding certain students (note 2: Students for whom it is not clear that they merit this gift), you should adopt a lenient position and give to them as well.

You refer to the correction of an error in the talks. It is obvious that they must be corrected. Indeed, the Shulchan Aruch* establishes that errors must be corrected, particularly in printed texts.

Undoubtedly, you will give me a detailed account of the Chassidishe farbrengen* of 19 Kislev* in the Chassidic communities throughout Eretz Yisrael*. You will also describe to me, with all the proper details, the gathering at Kfar Chabad* and the assemblies that will be held there.

With my blessing for a fruitful and joyous farbrengen*, as well as for conveying good news,

פשיטא אשר גם השתא עליו לחלק דמי חנוכה כבשנים שעברו, ובהתלמידים שיש איזה ספק, להקל, ז.א. לתת גם להם.

בשאלתו אודות התיקון טעות בהשיחות, פשיטא שיש לתקן, והרי דין הוא בשו"ע שצ"ל הספרים מתוקנים, ובפרט ענינים שבדפוס.

בודאי יודיע בפרטיות מההתועדות די"ט כסלו במושבות אנ"ש אשר באה"ק ת"ו, ובפרטיות הדרושה גם ע"ד ההתועדות דכפר חב"ד והכינוסים שהיו.
