Greetings and blessings,

After a long interruption, I received your letter of 17 Menachem Av. Just as you inform me of the improvement in your wife's condition, may Hashem grant that you also inform me very soon that she has fully recovered her health. You shall also convey good news of everything you write.

You tell me that you wish to rise in the perception of the Chassidic* light, but that you are still very far from this. May Hashem protect you from speaking this way! The Tanya* explains that "the thing is very close to you," and if this is so for everyone, how much more is it the case for one to whom divine Providence has entrusted an enviable lot — that of bringing Jewish hearts closer to our Father Who is in Heaven. It is difficult to measure the satisfaction that is thereby caused to Hashem. One can deduce from this the blessing and success that are granted to those who make such an effort. Nevertheless, you must strengthen and expand the channel and the receptacles that enable one to receive them. This is self-evident.

The means of being more attached to Chassidus* and all that pertains to it, of becoming unified with it, is explained in several books, discourses, and talks of our holy masters, which you should consult. And Hashem will grant you success. As you request, I will mention those you cite at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us. For this purpose, you shall send me their names and their mothers' names. May Hashem grant that you convey good news of this as well.

לאחרי הפסק ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מי"ז מנ"א, ויהי רצון שכמו שמבשר ע"ד הטבת מצב זוגתו תחי' כן יבשר בקרוב שחזרה לאיתנה לגמרי וכן בשו"ט בכל הענינים אודותם כותב.

במ"ש אודות רצונו להתעלות בהרגש אור החסידות וכו' אך הנהו רחוק מזה.

ח"ו לאמר כן, וכמבואר בתניא אשר קרוב אליך הדבר מאד, ואם בכאו"א הדברים אמורים, עאכו"כ בזה שהשגחה עליונה העמידתו בחלק היפה לקרב לבן של בני ישראל לאבינו שבשמים שגודל הנחת רוח למעלה אין לשער, ומובן גודל הברכה וההצלחה המושפעת עי"ז אל המשתדלים, ורק שעליהם לחזק ולהרחיב הצנור והכלים לקבלתם, וק"ל.

והדרך להתקשר יותר בחסידות ועניני' ולהתאחד עמהם, כבר מבואר בכמה ספרי ומאמרי דא"ח שיחות של רבותינו נשיאנו הק' ויעיין בהם והשי"ת יצליחו.

כבקשתו אזכיר את כל אלו שכותב אודותם, - ויודיע שמותיהם (ושם האם), - על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ויהי רצון שגם בזה יבשר טוב.
