Greetings and blessings,

We have duly received your letter announcing that a children's gathering is being organized on the occasion of the approaching Festival of Liberation of 12 Tammuz*, and the Rebbe Shlita* sent you a telegram yesterday, to the address of Yeshiva* Tomchei Temimim* of Lod, the text of which, as it concerns you, is as follows:

"To be transmitted to the youth of the Chabad* association, in the Kfar and in Jerusalem.

On the occasion of the Chassidic* farbrengen* for the youth on the day of liberation, may Hashem grant that the self-sacrifice that characterized the one whose joy we celebrate guide your action, your heart, and your intellect, in order to illuminate your path in life through the luminary and the light of the Torah* of life and its mitzvos*. With the eagerness, warmth, and vitality that are the qualities of youth, you will liberate yourselves and liberate your surroundings from the imprisonment of matter. You will strengthen the spirit over matter, holiness over the mundane, the Divine soul* over the animal soul* and the body. With pride, you will raise high the banner of the heritage of Israel — 'a people that dwells alone' and 'Hashem his Elokim* is with him.'
