By the grace of Hashem,

Greetings and blessings,

I am replying to your letter of the first day of Rosh Chodesh* Tammuz*. May Hashem grant that in the future you know no more pain and bitterness, that you report to me only visible and tangible good, always and every day.

You ask me how to strengthen and develop your activities. It is clear that from here it is difficult to enter into details, which depend on the situation on the ground. Nevertheless, a person is close to himself, being directly involved. You should therefore pose the question to three Chassidim* who are in your locality. May Hashem inspire them with good counsel. Indeed, the Chassidim* have already recognized the truth — that the yeshiva* does far more for them than what they do for it. In this regard, one exerts oneself, toils, and pushes beyond one's limits to secure material sustenance. If one would do even a fraction of that for the yeshiva*, one would have visible and tangible good that one could perceive with one's eyes of flesh.

These days in particular are propitious for making good resolutions in this matter, with the intention that they be followed by action. Indeed, we are approaching the 12th and 13th of Tammuz*. Moreover, this year marks the thirtieth anniversary of the liberation, and it was explained during the Chassidic* farbrengen* of the Shabbos* that blessed the month of Tammuz* the significance of a period of thirty years.

יהי רצון שמכאן ולהבא לא ידע עוד מכל צער ועגמ"נ ואך טוב בטוב הנראה והנגלה יבשר תכה"י.

במ"ש לאופן פעולתו לביסוס והתפתחות... מובן שמכאן קשה להכנס בפרטים ופרטי פרטים התלוים במצב על אתר, אבל כיון שאדם קרוב לעצמו ונוגע, הנה יציע ענינו בהנ"ל לפני שלשה מאנ"ש אשר על אתר, ויה"ר אשר השי"ת יתן לה הרעיון הנכון ליעצו, והלואי כבר היו אנ"ש נוכחים ועומדים על האמת אשר הרבה יותר מאשר הם עושים בעד הישיבה, הישיבה עושה בשבילם, וכמו שמשתדלים ומתייגעים און מ'גייט ארויס פון די כלים בעניני פרנסה גשמיות, אם היו עד"ז ועכ"פ במקצת בהנוגע להשתדלות בעניני הישיבה, אשר הי' טוב הנראה והנגלה אפילו בעניניהם הגשמים.

ומסוגלים ימים אלו בפרט להחליט בכל הנ"ל ע"מ להביא החלטות אלו בפועל, שהרי מתקרבים אנו לימי י"ב וי"ג תמוז ובפרט אשר השנה היא תקופת השלשים שנה ליום הגאולה בפעם הראשונה וכמדובר גם בהתועדות דש"מ חדש תמוז בענין מעלת השלשים שנה.
