By the grace of Hashem*,

Eve of the holy Shabbos*,

6 Tammuz* 5717 (note: the Rebbe writes "Tov" — "good" — whose numerical value is seventeen, i.e., the 17th letter-value),

To all the children of Israel at the Gan Israel* (note: day camps and summer camps), and at their head, the counselors, the directors, and all those responsible, may Hashem* grant them long life,

I greet you and bless you,

May your arrival at Gan Israel* be good and fruitful. Subsequently, may success and blessing continue in everything that concerns this Gan Israel*, materially and spiritually.

The Gan Israel* will be worthy of its name (note: "Garden/Orchard of Israel") and will produce good trees bearing beautiful fruits. And in you will be fulfilled the words of the verse: "Let my Beloved come into His garden." The Holy One, blessed be He, will possess a dwelling place here below, through the study and practice of our Torah* and its mitzvos*, illuminated by Chassidic* clarity and vitality.

With my blessing for a good and joyful Shabbos* (note: this letter was written on the eve of the holy Shabbos),
