To the Rav*, the distinguished Chassid* who fears Hashem* and devotes himself to communal needs, Rav* Michael (note: Rav M. Lipsker of Meknes, Morocco; see also letter no. 4897),

I greet you and bless you,

You contemplate a complete interruption of studies at the Beis Rivkah*, for one month, because of the heat. If there is no alternative, so be it. However, if another possibility exists, it is quite clear that a complete interruption is by no means desirable, for "if you abandon me one day..." (note: "...I will abandon you two days," says the Torah*).
