Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your question. Your wife currently teaches in a school affiliated with the Chinuch Atzmai* (see note 1). You are considering settling in the holy city of Yerushalayim* and you therefore ask me whether it is proper for her to teach in a state religious school (see note 2).
If one considers the sanctity of Yerushalayim relative to the rest of Eretz Yisrael*, as established by the Mishnah*, it does not seem to me that one should adopt an opposite approach by moving from a school that has a deeper fear of Heaven (yiras Shamayim*) to one where this quality is less developed.
The education of a young person conditions the rest of his life, and one cannot know from the outset what will more strongly impress his memory and what can be set aside. This is self-evident.
He Who nourishes everyone and grants His Providence to all will surely give her the opportunity to fully utilize her skills without compromising fear of Heaven — or better yet, while strengthening it.

במענה על שאלתו, אשר זוגתו תחי' מורה עתה בבי"ס דחינוך עצמאי, ובאם יתיישבו בירושלים עיה"ק האם כדאי לעבור לחינוך בבי"ס ממלכתי דתי.
בהתאם לדבר משנה בקדושת ירושלים עיה"ק על שאר הארץ לא נראה לי לעשות היפך זה לעבור מעבודה בשטח חינוך ביר"ש יותר לשטח החינוך בו נפחתה מדת היר"ש, והרי חינוך הנוער יכול להשפיע על כל משך ימי חייו של המחונך ואי אפשר לשער מראש איזה ענין יוחקק בזכרונו יותר ועל מה אפשר לוותר, וק"ל. והזן ומפרנס לכל המשגיח על כאו"א בהשגחה פרטית בודאי ימציא אפשרית שתנצל כשרונותי' באופן שלא לגרוע בענינים דיראת שמים ומה טוב גם להוסיף בהם.
