To the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem,

Rav Menachem Mendel Chaim Yechiel Azarya (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

I received with pleasure your letter of 7 Teves*, in which you describe the chassidic* gathering during which you distributed what remained from the one (see note 2) that took place on the luminous day of Yud-Tes Kislev* (see note 3), that of our deliverance and the freedom of our souls. Although you do not specify, you surely also repeated what was said at this gathering here.

May Hashem grant that these words lead to action. May the merit of our holy masters protect each of us, so that we fulfill our mission in general and take part in the dissemination of the wellsprings (see note 4) outward, in particular.

And may Hashem grant you, always and every day, to give good news of your personal accomplishments and your communal achievements.
