Greetings and blessings,
I have just learned that you underwent surgery and that you are doing better. May Hashem grant that this improvement continue.
Such is indeed the teaching of Chanukah*, which has just concluded. One must demonstrate increase in all that concerns purity and holiness. Our Sages say that the Jewish body is the property of the Holy One, blessed be He. Thus, the Creator of the world chose this coarse body from among all the peoples and nations. And in His great compassion, He drew it close to Him, as the Alter Rebbe* explains at length at the end of chapter 49 of the Tanya*, which you will consult.
May Hashem grant that you give me good news of all this, as well as of the increase in your Torah* classes, particularly the three well-known ones pertaining to Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya*. These concern everyone and were established by my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us.
