To the distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem, filled with eagerness and of numerous accomplishments,
Rav David Nathan (see note 1),
Greetings and blessings,
I have duly received your wax candles for Chanukah* and I thank you very much.
May Hashem grant that, in accordance with the laws of Chanukah* (see note 2), every individual within all of Yisrael* consent to an increase, advance and ascend in holiness, until reaching the outside — in particular by disseminating the wellsprings (see note 3) there — until "the night shall shine as the day," very soon, through our righteous Moshiach*, one of the eight (see note 4) men who receive anointing (see note 5), as explained in the Torah Or*, pages 33d and 34c.
With blessing for a luminous Chanukah* and in the spirit of increase,

נתקבלו הנרות שעוה להדליק בהם נרות חנוכה, ות"ח ת"ח. ויה"ר אשר כדין חנוכה הנה כאו"א בתכ"י יוסיף וילך ויעלה בקדש עד שיגיע לחוץ, וביחוד ע"י הפצת המעינות חוצה, עד אשר לילה כיום יאיר בביאה בעגלא דידן של משיח צדקנו שהוא משמונה* נסיכי אדם (ראה תורה אור לג, ד. לד, ג).
בברכה לחנוכה מאיר ומוסיף והולך.
