Greetings and blessings,
I am responding to your letter from the conclusion of Shabbos*.
At a propitious moment, I will mention this at the holy resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us, so that the wish of your heart may be fulfilled.
It is surely unnecessary to emphasize to you that in addition to the three well-known studies — Chumash*, Tehillim*, and Tanya* — you must fix a time for the study of Chassidus*, at least for a few moments each day. Then, on Shabbos*, the festivals, and special occasions, you will devote a certain period of time to it.
In this way, you will strengthen the Tree of Life, in which there is no controversy — including with regard to your personal concerns — so that you may be enlisted in the armies of Hashem, in the battle of the Torah* and its inner dimension, which is Chassidus* and its dissemination, in every place that one can reach.
To hasten the revelation of blessing here below, however, one must give tzedakah*, as explained in the Iggeres HaKodesh* and various other texts.
You have the ability to influence your friends in this regard, so that they adopt the same conduct. For nothing can withstand determination.

במענה על מכתבו ממוצש"ק.
בעת רצון אזכירו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע למילוי משאלות לבבו לטובה, ובודאי למותר לעוררו אשר נוסף על שמירת שלשת השיעורים בחומש תהלים ותניא הידועים, מוכרח שיהי' לו קביעות עתים בתורת החסידות בכל יום לכל הפחות איזה רגעים, ובימי הש"ק וימים טובים ימי סגולה משך זמן מתאים, אשר עי"ז יתוסף מאילנא דחיי דלית תמן קושיא כו' גם בעניניו הפרטים להיות מיוצאי צבא בצבאות ה' במלחמתה של תורה ופנימיות התורה זוהי תורת החסידות והפצתה בכל מקום שידו מגעת, אלא שכדי למהר בהמשכת הברכה למטה צ"ל ענין הצדקה, וכמבואר באגרת הקדש ובכמה מקומות, ובענינו הוא להשפיע גם על חבריו שי' שגם הם ינהגו כהנ"ל ואין לך דבר העומד בפני הרצון.
