To our brethren, the Children of Yisrael*, and those who cherish the Torah* and the mitzvos*,
may Hashem grant you long life,
Greetings and blessings,
On the occasion of the annual celebration of the center of the Yeshivos* Tomchei Temimim* Lubavitch, which will take place on the upcoming Sunday, 12 Teves*, I extend my greetings and blessing to all those responsible for the yeshivah*, as well as to those who assist them and take part in the preparations for this celebration.
As is known, this annual celebration constitutes a precious fundraising opportunity for the Yeshivos* Lubavitch. It must provide, on the spot, the necessary means, as well as new friends and supporters of these institutions. In general, it must create a favorable climate for their strengthening and development.
It goes without saying that whatever effort and attention may have been devoted to the preparations for this annual celebration, one can never have done too much. Moreover, the greater the effort, the greater the merit one acquires.
The principal leaders bear a particular merit and also a great responsibility. They must set the tone and open the way for others. And our Sages say that it is a mitzvah* to publicize the actions of those who act, so that others may act in the same spirit.
I hope that each person will be aware of the considerable merit and the sacred obligation incumbent upon him — that of ensuring the maintenance and development of the center of the Yeshivos* Tomchei Temimim* — and that one will fulfill this mission in the best possible manner. In this way, one will obtain, together with the members of one's family, the Divine blessings that our holy masters invoke and elicit for those who support the yeshivos* they founded and directed at the sacrifice of their lives.

בקשר עם החגיגה השנתית של מרכז הישיבות ״תומכי-תמימים״
ליובאוויטש] ,ב[יום ראשון י״ב טבת הבע״ל.
הנני שולח את איחולי וברכתי לכל עסקני הישיבה ,המסייעים
והמשתתפים בעבודת ההכנה לחגיגה.
חגיגה שנתית זו מציבה ,כידוע ,אתגר של תמיכה פיננסית חשובה
לישיבות ליובאוויטש .עלי׳ להשיג עזרה משמעותית מיידית ,לרכוש
ידידים ועסקנים חדשים בעד ישיבות ליובאוויטש ,ובכלל ליצור את
האוירה הדרושה להתפתחותן והתרחבותן.
לכן די מובן ,שכמה כוחות ומאמצים שמשקיעים בהכנות לחגיגה
השנתית ,זה לא יכול להיות יותר מדי ,וככל שגדולים יותר הכוחות,
גדולה יותר הזכות.
במיוחד גדולה הזכות ,כמו גם האחריות ,של ראשי העסקנים ,אלו
שצריכים לתת את הטון ולהורות את הדרך לאחרים ,אשר בכגון דא
אמרו חז״ל מצוה לפרסם ,כדי שגם אחרים יושפעו ברוח זו.
הנני מקוה שכל אחד יכיר בזכות הגדולה ובחוב הקדוש להבטיח
את הקיום ואת ההתפתחות של מרכז הישיבות תומכי-תמימים
ליובאוויטש וימלא זאת באופן הטוב ביותר .בזכות זה יזכה כל אחד ,עם
בני-ביתו ,לברכות האלוקיות שכ״ק רבותינו הקדושים פועלים
וממשיכים לתומכי הישיבות שהם יסדו וניהלו במסירות נפש ממש.
בברכת הצלחה בכל הנ״ל ובכל המצטרך בגשמיות וברוחניות,
