To the Rav, distinguished chassid* who fears Hashem and devotes himself to communal needs,

Rav Moshe (see note 1),

Greetings and blessings,

I have duly received your letter of 4 Kislev*, in which you mention the classes, the students, the study program, and their progress. Be pleased, as I myself was, upon learning of all this.

You know the degree to which our holy masters, the founders and directors of the Yeshivos* Tomchei Temimim* — the Rebbe Rashab* and my father-in-law, the Rebbe, whose merit protects us — gave particular attention to the smallest detail concerning these yeshivos*.

One must add, as the beginning of the Shaar HaYichud* explains, that thought itself must be precise. For man, here below, is so called (see note 2) because he is in the image of the Most High. The righteous resemble their Creator and will even bear His Name (see note 3). This is self-evident.

You have surely already prepared a program to take advantage of the approaching days of Yud-Tes Kislev* and Chanukah*, in order to develop and expand, to the extent possible, quantitatively and qualitatively, everything concerning the holy institution in which you find yourself.

May Hashem grant you success, in accordance with the well-known ruling of the Heavenly Court (see note 4).

With blessing on the occasion of the festival of liberation and with greetings to all your colleagues in this sacred mission,

מאשרים קבלת מכתבו מד' כסלו, בו כותב ע"ד הכתות, התלמידים שי', סדר לימודם והתקדמותם, ותנוח דעתו כאשר הניח את דעתי בידיעות האמורות, וכידוע עד כמה דקדקו רבותנו נשיאנו הק' מייסדי ומנהלי ישיבות תומכי תמימים הם כ"ק אדמו"ר מהורש"ב ובנו כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר - זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, בכל עניני פרטי ישיבות תומכי תמימים לפרטיהם ופרטי פרטיהם, ויש להוסיף עוד בזה שדייקו בזה שהוא ע"ד המבואר בשער היחוד בתחלתו שהתבוננות צ"ל דוקא בפרטיות, והרי אדם התחתון נקרא שמו כן ע"ש אדמה לעליון וצדיקים דומים לבוראם עד שעתידים להקראות בשמו, וק"ל.

בודאי הכינו כבר תכנית איך לנצל הימים י"ט כסלו וחנוכה הבע"ל לתועלת התפתחות והרחבת כל עניני המוסד הק' בו הם נמצאים ככל האפשרי, הן בכמות והן באיכות, והשי"ת יצליחם, וכפס"ד בי"ד של מעלה הידוע.

בברכת חג הגאולה ופ"ש כל חבריו בעבודה קדושה זו.
