Greetings and blessings,

I have received your letter of 21 Cheshvan*, which followed an interruption.

You mention your dispute with the one who collects (see note 1). Surely you will find a compromise, so that he can continue his work.

I am surprised that he continues to demand such a percentage (see note 2), when it involves an institution dispensing an education in sacred values. In accordance with a well-known teaching of our Sages, the institution does far more for the collector than the collector does for the institution.
